As part of our mission, we at Hospice are largely committed to providing education about dying, death and bereavement, hospice philosophy and care. We offer a variety of educational programs to promote community knowledge and engage community members in end of life issues.

In spring 2012, Circle of Caring at Hospice of the Good Shepherd will continue hosting its “Public Messages, Personal Experiences” educational series. Programs in the series will address the many changes and challenges in the current healthcare environment and offer a place to consider unexplored or under-explored areas in the fields of aging, dying, death, grief and other life transitions. Continuing education credits will be available to health care professionals.
